the loom


Sololá is an amazing collaboration between three former RISD students. The collection celebrates the textiles artistry created by Guatemalan weavers. These purse are created on a backstrap loom and turned inside out to expose a burst of color and handwork. Being a lover of embroidery and textile, I am always intrigued by the underside of fiber work. Absolutely gorgeous!!! Make sure you take a look in the Grain Shop before they are all snatched up!!
