what a novel idea! Abbey over at aesthetic outburst started the nesting doll exchange...artists have been collaborating to decorate and illustrate wooden nesting dolls which will be swapped and remailed out.
i am excited to see all the photographs she will be posting on May 30th.

speaking of typefaces i stumbled upon this excellent blog...for the love of type. She recently posted a brilliant installation by Jessica Tresser at College of Fine Arts in Sydney.

I finally received images of the installation i did at the Hermes Store in Dallas. I have never created a piece of wood embroidery this big and i had so much fun making it. They also showcased some of my artwork in their windows as well.

i just read an interesting article in the new yorker about Pascal Dangin. Dangin is the fashion industry best kept secret and the magician behind digitial imagery. He has worked with the likes of Annie Leibovitz, Mario Sorrenti and Steven Meisel.
The Botanist Blank Canvas Project was conceived by Orange22 and designed by eight leading designers. The new series of laser cut benches consists of art by Yves Behar, Milton Glaser, Karim Rashid, Kahi Lee, Claude Zellweger, Margo Chase, Joe Richhio and Massimo and Leila Vignelli.
