the nesting doll exchange

what a novel idea! Abbey over at aesthetic outburst started the nesting doll exchange...artists have been collaborating to decorate and illustrate wooden nesting dolls which will be swapped and remailed out.
i am excited to see all the photographs she will be posting on May 30th.

i just read an interesting article in the new yorker about Pascal Dangin. Dangin is the fashion industry best kept secret and the magician behind digitial imagery. He has worked with the likes of Annie Leibovitz, Mario Sorrenti and Steven Meisel.
